Despite breaking his collarbone in Las Vegas trying to take out Jo Shimoda, Haiden Deegan says he will get surgery on his collarbone in a race to be fit for the MXoN at Ironman!
Deegan said of the night: “The only thing I can say is I told myself I’m going to die trying to win this championship, and we did. So the collarbone is broke. It’s a break, but we’ll probably get surgery Monday and try and figure out if we can get therapy going quick and maybe race the des Nations still because I want to do that because that would be huge. So yeah, figure out surgery Monday and figure out the plan after that.”
