Moto one: It was a memorable opening moto as Jett Lawrence hit the gate and Eli Tomac holeshot! Chase Sexton crashed when he wss inside the top ten but still recounted ahead of Lawrence and duo began their charge through thr field as Hunter Lawrence passed Tomac for the lead. Jett caught Sexton as they entered the top five but Sextom upped his pace and got himself into second with Jett on his tail as they got the gap to Hunter within three seconds!
Jett and Chase went at it, making contact a couple of times and Chase refusing to give in, Jett settled for third after the contact as Sexton kept pushing, passing Hunter with a couple of laps to go for a brilliant win. Tomac ended up dropping back to seventh, with Prado sixth.
*Amazingly, Jett Lawrence was docked a lap for hitting the gate by the AMA putting him back to 17th!

Moto two: It was another crazy race as Jett Lawrence started inside the top ten despite 17th gate pick and wasted no time in getting into the lead but, after a mistake by Hunter Lawrence allowed Chase Sexton through, Sexton had a huge crash that took him out of the overall win and the moto!

Hunter Lawrence consequently took the overall with a second place finish after Tomac stalled late dropping from second to third with RJ Hampshire fourth and making the podium in second overall with Tomac third overall. Jorge Prado showed decent speed in the first half over the race and took sixth, losing fifth on the last lap to Justin Cooper.
Jett Lawrence said: “The AMA I guess had their rules, more importantly Hunter got his win. I don’t know how I got to first – the first few laps I blacked out I was so pissed off!”
Hunter Lawrence said: ” I haven’t got energy to be happy. It’s hot, I’m finished. It’s good to get the monkey off the back.”
