It was a very strong season for young German talent, Luca Nierychlo as he finished fourth in the 65cc class at the Junior World Championship in the deep sand of Heerde.

In the EMX65 championship, racing totally different conditions in the hard pack track of Loket, Nierychlo again was strong by finishing on the podium in third. Despite being so young he showed he can already ride different conditions.

Towards the end of the year, Nierychlo raced an 85cc in Germany in the ADAC class and was battling for some top five results. For 2025, he’ll move to the 85cc full time and will hope to adapt to the bike as quickly as possible.

KTM noticed the talent in Nierychlo and have decided to sign him up as one of the riders they will have big hopes for in the future. KTM have rewarded him with a multi-year contract.

For the 2025 season, the young German plans to race the EMX85 series as well as the ADAC championship and the Dutch Masters 85cc class.

One event he won’t be able to contest in next year is the Junior World Championship as he’s only 11 years old which makes him too young for the event in the 85cc class next year.

“I am very happy and proud to be part of the KTM family for the next years. The goal is to make good progress and bring the best possible results”, Nierychlo told GateDrop.com.
