In a rare bit of insight into rider salaries, Adam Cianciarulo has revealed the salary he had last year from factory Kawasaki. The former 250 National champ had to retire due to a nerve injury in his arm restricting his potential but continues to be an open book about his career.
Adam said, in conversation with Steve Matthes on Pulp MX about how it would help the sport to make rider salaries public: “I can share not any specifics, not bonuses, for last year, the base was €1.8 million.”
It makes sense why a lot of riders want to race in the USA, especially when you add in gear deals, goggle deals, boot deals, and bonuses. More below:
