250 West riders so far… big names IN

It’s usually a big secret with who rides the 250 West but Steve Matthes has announced the two PC riders most likely to line-up at A1 are new signings Max Vohland and Levi Kitchen!

Vohland has struggled a bit in supercross on the KTM so will the new bike with that new engine that got lots of holeshots at the end of the Nationals help the skilled Vohland reach his undoubted potential? I think it can!

Joining him will be Levi Kitchen, who has already proven his speed indoors and out he just needs to find the consistency, but it contract to Vohland, Kitchen is stepping away from arguably the best/fastest bike in the class, but Mitch Payton looks to have the 250 Kawasaki close to the Yamaha’s now and Kitchen should be able to show what he can do on green.

But the guy they will be looking to beat is former PC Kawi guy, Jo Shimoda, now on the Honda, who has also been confirmed as West, he looked superb in Paris on his new machine and he desperately wants to win his first pro title!

It also looks like KTM will go with rookie Julien Beaumer out West not Tom Vialle, but let’s wait for confirmation on that one.

Some big names already in for West and Star Yamaha hasn’t been revealed yet – will Deegan go to where the hype is and race at A1?!
