The weather for the weekend at Ironman is going to favour the riders who are good in the heat if the forecast is anything to go by!
Of course, it will be nothing new and probably not even that warm for team USA who deal with humid summers every year as do the Lawrence brothers for team Australia but, for the GP and European teams, it could add another challenge to an already tough weekend as they take on the USA on home soil and AMA based Australia led by the Lawrence brothers.
Belgium, France, Netherlands and any other country with winning on their mind are going to have to dig very deep with two days of racing. Plus, with MX2 and the Open classes essentially having back to back motos on the Sunday, it wont just be about speed, but who can stick the heat as well as the fierce competition on the biggest motocross weekend of the year.
