Just when it looked like factory Yamaha were back to full strength with Geerts and now Benistant back, Calvin Vlaanderen has confirmed he is out of the Swiss GP after his knee injury sustained at Arnhem.
Vlaanderen said: “Bummer that I’ll have to miss the Swiss GP this weekend. 😔 Thankfully nothing major is injured and I’ll be back soon.”
Vlaanderen has been selected for the Netherlands MXON team alongside Herlings and de Wolf, so he will be hoping he can be back to full strength sooner rather than later, especially with the form of Glenn Coldenhoff in Arnhem.
