Jorge Prado has been riding at the Baker’s factory recently with the full KTM squad, including Eli Tomac, all doing some mini races to prep for the 2026 A1 season. And Jorge has been so impressed with facility that he is looking for a house in Florida with a view to moving there full-time in March once the West Coast swing of the early Supercross races are over.

“We saw that California was a little bit weak in some areas for training. Pretty much everyone is living in the East Coast. It is one of the reasons we wanted to come over and check this place out. It is the perfect place to be and to train in my eyes. That’s why I came over, ” explained Prado in his latest video.

“I wanted to check it out, it has everything a rider needs to perform. It’s a very good place to train and get ready for the races. I really like training with the other guys at the test track, the tracks are softer and get more beat up but also with more bikes the tracks are more realistic and more close to a main event type of track. I think it’s important to train with the other guys to push each other and learn, I think we can make good improvements.”

Prado said at the time of filming: “We are 3 weeks away from A1 and I am feeling very good on the bike, very confident, we are three weeks away from A1 and I feel very good on the bike, very confident. We have done a lot of laps and some testing to see what works and what doesn’t. I am very happy with my bike and with my physical feeling. We will try to get as ready as possible to be 100% for A1”.
