We are all waiting for Haiden Deegan v Cole Davies and the rest of the contenders in the 250 East coast to take on the dominator of the West region but Haiden says he might play it smart since he has the points lead – althought he still wants to win!
Deegan said: “450 was fun on outdoors, but I miss reving that 250! So get back on the 250, get the feet wet, some supercross. East-West shootou’ts up next, so it’s a big race, get some good practicing. We got a nice points to lead, so kind of right now, racing-wise, the goal is to win – but maybe (play it) smart too!”
If Davies is out front with Deegan really just play it smart in second or will the need to prove he is the best 250 Supercross rider in his last few races on the smaller capacity machine prove too tempting to let another rider, especially someone as talented as Davies on the same Star team take the win?
