Isak Gifting was having a phenomenal ride at home in moto one, riding in third place with Herlings just in front and Gajser, in his first race back, just behind the Swede. But it all went wrong for Gajser and Gifting when the collided off a jump with Gajser unable to continue but fortunately unhurt.
Gifting got going but crashed again and still finished 17th – tough man!
