Deegan said of his 450 debut: “Yeah, racing Argentina was good today. It was a lot of adversity that we got through, and yeah, still made it on the podium. So I’m stoked for this 450 race, and yeah, all we can do is just keep getting better from here. Yeah, I’d say overall, we’re safe. We’re healthy. That was the main goal, especially even our country, a good country. I want to be smart. So I just wanted to have some fun today, threw some whips for the crowd and stuff. So it was dope.“
