Chase Sexton had this scary crash just a few laps from the end of the final SMX moto in Las Vegas while running fourth that looks to have ended his chances of racing the MXoN, just like a year ago!
Sexton said: “Just wanted to give everyone an update and appreciate everyone checking in on me ❤️ my shoulder is very weak so I will be getting it checked this upcoming week and a mild concussion. Not the way I was expecting to end this year but I trust gods plan always 🫶🏻.”
Haiden Deegan was already looking likely to be on the sidelines after he broke his collarbone while taking out Jo Shimoda with a title on the line, leaving two third’s of team USA injured ahead of the MXoN in two weeks!

As things stand it looks like RJ Hampshire and Justin Cooper could be the next men up if required – with both having experience of the event and a lot of speed in 2025, it would keep USA in the hunt for the win.
