He was making a name for himself in Australia but the rest of the world still didn’t know the name of Chad Reed as he put in the work down under on his Suzuki.
Just three years later Reed would be a global household name after winning a GP at 18 and finishing runner-up in his one and only 250 GP season before winning his first AMA supercross title at his first attempt in 2002 when he dominated the East Coast 125 series.
From there Reed went on to become a legend winning two 450 AMA Supercross titles and an AMA motocross titles… but as you can see below he was putting in the work long before he became a superstar.
