Liam Everts was riding a great race out front in Finland with Kay de Wolf behind him in second as Neestan Husqvarna looked set for a 1-2 result in the qualifying race until Everts went off track and got thrown from his Husky in a huge crash for the young Belgian rider.
Let’s hope everything is okay for Everts, with his crash in China still fresh in everyone’s memory,
Update* Unfortunately, Liam did not escape injury free with the Belgian suffering a fractured sacram (triangular bone at the bottom of the spine) and will return home for further evaluation according to his team.
