Jason Anderson’s 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season has come to an early end following a family emergency that forced him to withdraw from the Seattle round. Now, Kawasaki has provided an official update on the situation, confirming that Anderson will sit out the remainder of the Supercross campaign to be with his family.
The American had been a consistent contender in the premier class this season, showing flashes of brilliance on his Monster Energy Kawasaki KX450SR. However, personal matters have taken priority, and the team fully supports his decision to step away from racing at this time.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Kawasaki has assured fans that Anderson remains committed to returning to competition. The current plan is for him to make his comeback for the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which kicks off at the Fox Raceway National in Pala, California, on May 24.
