Even the legendary Eli Tomac has admitted his chances of winning are now higher with the “incredible” Jett Lawrence out of action with his broken leg.
Eli told us: “We all know it does open up a pretty big opportunity to crank off some wins, because the guy is incredible. Yeah, we have to take advantage of it while we can, try to keep improving and be ready for when he comes back.”
Has Eli learnt anything from battling Jett? “You can learn some things, but it is hard to change your style so seeing his flow and his lines, it is what it is.”
