Tim Gajser set the pace in MXGP but it was close with Lucas Coenen second fastest with less than tenth in it.
Romain Febvre was third fastest with Jago Geerts fourth – it’s nice to see the Belgian show his ability. Maxime Renaux rounded out the top five on his Factory Yamaha.
It is also nice to see Roan van de Moosdijk put in a good lap on his Kosak KTM as he was sixth fastest. Jeffrey Herlings put in the tenth time on his return but only a second and a half off the pace.
In MX2, it was Sacha Coenen who set the pace again as he looks good in the Riola sand on his Factory KTM.
Behind him was Husqvarna duo with Liam Everts edging out his team mate, Kay de Wolf. Rick Elzinga was fourth on his Factory Yamaha.
Valerio Lata rounded out the top five with Simon Langenfelder sixth. Cas Valk had bike issues so didn’t get a lap in which means he’ll go the gate last in the qualifying race later today.
