Timed practice results: MX2 + MXGP World Championship RD3 – Saint-Jean d’Angély

Tim Gajser stamped his authority on the MXGP field top take top spot by gong nearly a second quicker than Romain Febvre with Vlaanderen third and Renaux fourth. Jan Pancar had a brilliant lap to go fifth – superb for a privateer in a mega deep field that sees Coldenhoff, Geerts and Watson outside the top twenty!

Thibault Benistant went quickest in MX2 from the in-form Zanchi with Everts third but De Wolf hasn’t found his flow on the hard pack track and was eleventh but it was disaster for Guillem Farres who had a big crash on the downhill jump and needed stretchered off the track – hoping for the best for the fast Spaniard.

As you can see, Benistant was fully committed in timed practice…
