It was a race to beat the rain as Kay de Wolf and Simon Längenfelder battled for top spot in MX2 as the rain approached in the background. De Wolf took the fastest time in his ninth lap out of ten as he continues his great form since the break.
The MXGP class didn’t get so lucky with the rain coming a few minutes into the session, but at that point Romain Febvre had put in a flyer to go quickest by two seconds over title rival, Lucas Coenen with privateer, Jan Pancar a superb third.
