Stilez Robertson has opened up on the efforts he went through to continue his professional career despite a wrist injury that has forced him to call a halt to his childhood dream.
An honest Robertson said on Instagram: “Hard post to make. Since I was 4 years old all I ever dreamed about was becoming a professional motocross racer. Now being 23 and officially having retired (quit) I can honestly say I always tried my best and put my best foot forward. My wrist is just not in a place for me to be able to compete at the top level. 8 surgery’s 3 complete reconstructive surgery’s , Bone fusion, ligaments repairs (what’s left) and even cutting the nerve ending in my wrist.
“As sad as I am, I can honestly say I’m proud of myself and what I was able to achieve even if it was not the end result I wanted. Although I don’t know what the future holds if you know me you know I’ll be doing it with a smile and to the best of my abilities. Thank you to everyone who has helped me live my dream for the past 19 years. None of this would’ve been possible without my family and close friends that supported me along the way❤️ Love 325❤️”
