Should Tom Vialle go back to MXGP?

It has been the talk of the summer with Tom Vialle, heavily linked to a return to MXGP with HRC Honda on a multi year deal, but also having a one-year option with KTM in the States giving the two-time MX2 world motocross champ and two-time AMA East Coast supercross champ a big decision to make.

And just this week Vialle liked a post from Giacomo Gariboldi who was showing off the prototype Honda that Ruben Fernandez was flying on in Loket, just missing the podium.

AC gave his thoughts on the rumours in a recent AC/JB podcast saying: “I’m dipping into the sky miles, baby. I’m headed back over to Honda. Oh yeah. Oh, I’m gone. I’m so gone. You’re signing with Honda in Europe. And those guys in Europe are starting to make, like what I’ve heard is that basically the salaries are higher, the bonuses are lower.

“I mean, I think he could, I think he could probably compete of being a top five guy, win some races, be a podium guy over there right away.”

“But if he loves the lifestyle here, you know, maybe he’s got a girlfriend that’s from here or something like then the conversation changes a little bit. But just from a racing point of view, my thing is, could he try, he could do the one year deal, try and then will those deals for the GP still be there?
