With crashes in Tampa, Arlington and Daytona, Chase Sexton’s championship lead is now a 10 point deficit and he has a fight on his hands to win his second supercross title against Cooper Webb and now Daytona winner Ken Roczen, who is six back of Sexton and would be right there if not leading the series if it wasn’t for a backmarker getting in his way at Tampa.
An honest as always Sexton says it hasn’t been easy: “Not going to lie this past month has been a bit of a tough one, but that’s racing. Something worth having isn’t ever easy! Thanks for everyone supporting and having my back 🫶🏻”
Can Sexton admonish the demons and a mentally damaging trio of crashes heading into his home round this weekend at Indianapolis to rebound victorious? Or will the situation compound as Webb and now Roczen’s confidence continue to grow in this title fight.
