Roan van de Moosdijk signs with Kosak KTM


After starting the season with Fantic Racing before signing a fill in ride at HRC Honda which was short lived due to riding with an injured knee things have been quiet around Roan van de Moosdijk.

The good news is that German based team, Kosak KTM have announced they have signed up the young Dutch talent who has had a roller-coaster of a year in what is his first season racing the 450cc.

Van de Moosdijk made the best decision after his HRC Honda stint to recover from his injury but recently returned to riding.

His debut with his new team will be the ADAC MX Masters series at Tensfeld and he’ll also contest selected MXGP World Championship events which is good news.

The Kosak KTM team posted the following news on social media:

Roan van de Moosdijk, the 23-year-old Dutchman will be starting for the KTM Kosak team from Tensfeld.

Roan van de Moosdijk became European champion in the EMX250 class in 2019 and finished second in the national rankings with Team Netherlands at the Motocross of Nations in 2021.

During the preseason in winter 2023, Roan injured his knee and had to take several breaks after a turbulent start in 2024 and finally decided to recover from the injury completely.

Roan will be starting in the ADAC MX Masters and selected MXGPs for the KTM Kosak team from Tensfeld.
