Revealed: Team GCR – look for 2026

As well as racing for Yamaha Brazil, Glenn Coldenhoff has setup his own Yamaha team which he’ll contest selected events in Europe.

When his deal to go and race in Brazil was made official, we asked the Dutch rider about his plans back in December:

“I will race some pre-season events in Europe. I’ll be running my own team for my European program. I’ve been very busy the past few weeks arranging everything and finding partners to support this project, but we’ve got most of it sorted, so I’m happy to start riding in January”.

“In addition to the Brazilian races, I plan to race in the Netherlands and events like the Keiheuvel. I always enjoy these races because I can spend more time with Dutch and Belgian fans, sponsors, and family. The atmosphere is always great, and it’s fun to race in front of the home crowd”.

His own setup is now well and truly underway with Coldenhoff posting the following update on social media:

“Team GCR is ready to take off.  Besides my Brazilian adventure, I will continue to race some races here in Europe. Therefore I have set up my own team to compete in the Dutch Masters, (some) Dutch Nationals and international races this year. At the same time we are trying to do at least one MXGP round. Goal: Have fun. Go fast”.

Thanks to all my partners who jumped onboard my European program.
