Haiden Deegan dominated the opening moto at Budds Creek from halfway down the start straight, and pulled nearly 30 seconds on the field until a small tip over on the last lap shortened the gap to Tom Vialle who came from ninth and inherited second after Hymas went down himself on the final lap.
Deegan said: “All I cared about on the line was destroying these dudes as bad as I could I just wanted to annihilate everybody. I got to a 25 second gap and wanted 30 seconds but ended up tucking the front but I got the championship, that’s all that matters.”
Nuff said 😤

In race two Levi Kitchen held off Chance Hymas as Tom Vialle came from the back of the top ten to third, right behind Hymas, but it wasn’t enough for the overall with Kitchen’s 1-3 getting the job done. Haiden Deegan got a bad start and just cruised around in tenth with the title already sealed.
Deegan reflected on his title saying: “It takes a whole sacrifice from the team, my family. It’s unreal, I’m so happy right now, it’s starting to kick in, this is awesome.”
