Race One: It was Kiara Fontanesi who took the holeshot and she never looked back to take a dominate race win. Charli Cannon was sitting second and looking good on her Honda before a crash which Daniela Guillen couldn’t avoid.
The Spaniard dropped back to third but quickly passed Taylor McCutcheon to get back into second but she couldn’t catch Fontanesi.
Van Drunen was riding quite tentative but still did enough to finish third so she is getting closer to her second world title.
Race Two: Guillen bounced back in race two to win the race and take the overall with it. Fontanesi ended up second with Cannon an impressive third.
Van Drunen finished fourth which was enough to give her the title – that is second in a row for the Dutch sensation.
