Race One: It was Tom Vialle who got the holeshot on his Honda – it didn’t take Jeffrey Herlings long to get himself to the front but Lucas Coenen was the man on the move. The Belgium passed Febvre, Vialle and Herlings to get himself to the front and them dominated in very tough conditions.
Despite a small tip over Febvre came home in third ahead of Kay de Wolf who continues to improve. Ruben Fernandez rounded out the top five.
It wasn’t a great race for the Yamaha’s with Tim Gajser coming back to ninth after a small crash. Renaux is dealing with illness so finished twelfth.
