Race One: Tim Gajser took the win in a static race with Romain Febvre putting on a charge with a smoking Kawasaki at the end but Gajser was always in control. Lucas Coenen took third as Renaux blew the start and finished tenth. Gajser is in complete charge of this championship already.

Race Two: Tim Gajser went from fifth to first in ten minutes, passing Gifting, then Coenen and race leader Coldenhoff as he checked out to win his second GP in a row and underline the fact that no-one else, in the absence of Prado and Herlings, can run close to his level consistently.
Romain Febvre had a bad start but rode well to get to second but, by the time he did, Gajser had a ten second lead. Maxime Renaux was fifth right behind Gajser in the opening laps but dropped it and had to come from tenth all the way back to fifth by the end of the moto and more crucial points lost, he is now a whopping 46 back of Gajser already!
Febvre took second overall with Coenen riding smart for third overall and his first MXGP podium, but they are all searching for a way to run with and then beat a primetime Tim Gajser.
Gajser, who has a 29 point lead over second place Romain Febvre in the championship already, said: “It was a really good two days of riding, I was really enjoying. When I was in the lead I made a little gap and controlled the race.
