Race One: It’s the Romain Febvre show! After battling with Herlings on the first lap, Febvre pulled away and then totally dominated the race – impressive!

Herlings will be happy with second in hard pack conditions. Lucas Coenen had a terrible start – he was outside the top twenty so had a lot of work to do.

Meanwhile home hero, Isak Gifting was having a superb ride in third before coming together with Tim Gajser which saw them both down on the deck – it was a DNF for Gajser but he is okay for race two.

Coenen managed to get back to seventh and looked to be dealing with arm pump at the end of the race.

Calvin Vlaanderen had a good ride in third ahead of Ruben Fenandez with Maxime Renaux rounding out the top five.

Race Two: The second moto was insane. This is Motocross! Febvre was at the front but had Herlings and Gifting for company. The Swede was on fire in front of his home fans. With three laps to go he passed Herlings but wanted to give the home crowd a race win.

He caught and made a sensational pass on Febvre – he was less than half a lap away from taking a moto win before a crash that broke just about everybody’s hearts. The bike didn’t even restart so he couldn’t even finish the race but what a show he put on!

Meanwhile, Coenen was sat in around sixth after the first corner but then went off track at turn three and had to come from the very back – he got back to twelfth. Not ideal in the championship chase.

Herlings had a good day to finish second overall with Calvin Vlaanderen rounding off the podium – that’s his third of the season.
