Race One: Lucas Coenen dominated the opening race but the real story is Romain Febvre who came across the line in fourth. After winning his first world title in 2015 he has had to wait ten years but he has become a two time world championship in what has been a great year for the experienced French rider.
It is also a big achievement for Kawasaki who win their first MXGP World Championship title – congratulations to all involved.
Herlings finished second which keeps alive his chances of an overall win with Gajser third.
Race Two: The decision was made to cancel the second race after a lot of rain.
