Race One: After overnight rain, track conditions were totally different from qualifying. Sacha Coenen got the holeshot and quickly built up a big lead. It was going perfect until the last lap when he caught an edge and went down! He had such a big lead he still picked it up in first to bring home the win.

Kay de Wolf didn’t get the best of starts but was aggressive on the first lap including a pass on Simon Längenfelder. The pair then made passes on Valerio Lata to get into second and third respectively. There wasn’t much to split the pair for the first half of the moto but then de Wolf got away.

Andrea Adamo was parked behind Liam Everts for most the race but then with five minutes to go finally got around the Belgian. He then had time to pass Lata to get himself into fourth.

Race Two: It was Längenfelder who executed the start and was looking superb at the front of the field pulling out a comfortable gap ahead of Adamo. De Wolf didn’t get the best of starts and after passing Lata for fourth had time to make up to catch the top three but then he had a tip over which meant he lost a lot of time.

Längenfelder then got caught right at the death by Adamo who didn’t seem to mind the heat. The Italian then made a last lap pass. De Wolf tried to get Coenen for third but couldn’t make the pass stick so the Belgian won the GP overall and didn’t even know it.

The championship gap is now 16 points in favour of Längenfelder with one round to go.
