Race One: In the first moto there was lots of crashes at a very deceiving and slick Loket circuit. The race actually had to be restarted after a Jack Chambers crashed meant a red flag. Hopefully the American is okay…

Sacha Coenen took the holeshot with his Brother for company who was quite patient during the opening laps but with just over 20 minutes to go he made the move and simply dominated proceedings.

Kay de Wolf had a bad start and a crash but ended up passing Mikkel Haarup on the last lap for third to come home behind Simon Langenfelder.

Andrea Adamo who had a big crash during the warm up had another big one towards the end of the first moto which resulted in a DNF.

Race Two: The second moto provided some of the best battles of the season in MX2. Everts quickly got into the lead and was getting away but then lost the front and dropped back to second allowing Haarup to get into the lead but he quickly got back to the front again. After that there were six riders battling right at the front – chaos but great to watch!

Kay de Wolf and Lucas Coenen were charging through the pack together and had got into third and fourth when Coenen caught one of the banks and went down. That allowed de Wolf to focus in front, he passed Everts and then Langenfelder to take a very impressive race win and the overall with it. He is looking superb this year.

Coenen was able to get back to fourth to end up third overall and knock Everts off the podium.
