Race One: It was Edoardo Riganti who grabbed the holeshot in race one but Sleny Goyer didn’t take long to get himself to the front and a couple of laps later he was… gone! The impressive thing about Goyer is he looks comfortable in both sand and hard pack despite being French.

David Cracco rode well to pass Riganti for second as Italy look good for the future.

Ricardo Bauer didn’t get a good start but was able to make plenty of passes to get himself into fourth ahead of French talent, Leo Diss-Fenard.

Lucas Leok was thirteenth on lap one and managed to come through to seventh behind Viktor Leppala.

Race Two: There was drama at the start of the EMX85 second moto as Goyer crashed at the start leaving him dead last and a lot of work to do. At the front, Jordi Alba was flying at the front and looking good in the lead before Jekabs Hudoleis from Latvia made a move for the lead.

Meanwhile, Goyer was flying through the pack and ended up fifth to take the overall win – a talent for the future!

After briefly leading, Riganti rode well for third and secure the final step of the podium. It was another bad start for Leok but he was able to charge through to fourth but missed out on the podium.
