It was Jess Pettis from Canada who took the B-final race win but it wasn’t enough to get Canada into the main event.
It was Estonia who got through to the main event with Kullas finishing second and Talviku in fourth.
It just wasn’t meant to be for Ireland with Barr and Edmonds suffering crashes. McCormick was in the top fifteen before coming home in nineteenth.
