Ken Roczen passed Hunter Lawrence to take the win in Glendale as Eli Tomac went down in the first turn to leave Hunter in the points lead and Roczen up to second! Cooper Webb also played it smart with a third place.
Jorge Prado was top KTM in fifth and he didn’t get a great start. Chase Sexton took seventh behind Joey Savatgy who had another great ride in sixth with Tomac taking 12th and dropping to third in points, eight points behind new points leader, Hunter Lawrence.
Roczen said: “Unreal. I got a good start, Friese cut me off on the first turn otherwise I would have had the holeshot. I passed Hunter. I want to dedicate this race to Larry. I talk to him every day.”

Haiden Deegan holeshot and controlled the main event to take his fourth win in a row as Levi Kitchen started outside the top ten but rode superbly to take second and was the fastest rider on the track coming through the field. Cameron McAdoo passed Michael Mosiman with two laps to go to get on the podium in third. Max Anstie had a terrible start and came back to eighth in another frustrating night for the Brit.
