Race one: It was a French 1-2 in front of their home crowd with world champion, Romain Febvre taking the win over Maxime Renaux. Pauls Jonass had a strong ride to finish third just behind Renuax.

SR Honda riders, Thibault Benistant and Kevin Horgmo were solid finishing fourth and fifth respectively. Mathis Valin was sixth but the first MX2 rider across the line.

It was a DNF for both Coenen’s – both had crashes and Lucas then had mechanical issues.

Race Two: With a lot of rain it has left conditions very wet so the second moto was a bit of a mudder. It didn’t bother Febvre too much as he took the win over Renaux.

This time it was a French 1-2-3 as Benistant came home in third ahead of Pauls Jonass with Greg Aranda rounding out the top five. Saad Soulimani came home in eleventh but was the first MX2 rider across the line.

Race Three: With it being tough and muddy conditions, many riders opted to sit out the final race. Maxime Renaux managed to take the win and with it the overall – a great day for Yamaha with Gajser also winning at Mantova.

Jonass finished second in the final race of the day ahead of Benistant with Febvre down in sixth.

Valin finished fifth which meant he ended up the best MX2 rider on the day.
