Malcolm Stewart set the pace in 450SX Q1 but it was Eli Tomac who went faster in Q2 to take pole position over Ken Roczen – the times are tight!
Cooper Webb went faster in Q1 to go third fastest – you can never rule him out at Arlington. Jason Anderson was fourth fastest with Chase Sexton rounding out the top five.
Championship leader, Hunter Lawrence was ninth fastest.
In the first 250SX East Coast qualifying of the year it was a Star Yamaha 1-2 with Pierce Brown edging out his younger team mate, Cole Davies. Seth Hammaker was third fastest overall but was fastest in Q2.
Caden Dudney despite being in group B was fourth fastest on his Supercross debut.
Jo Shimoda was fifteenth fastest on what is his return to racing.
