Chase Sexton went fastest in Q1 on a very rutted track at Anaheim and then said he had even more speed in the tank with Eli Tomac taking second and Ken Roczen third.
In Q2 with the ruts ironed out by the track crew, Sexton was quickest again but also fell in the whoops! Cooper Webb meanwhile was outside the top ten in 11th with 1 second covering the top nine.

In 250 West, Haiden Deegan set a scorching time in Q1 over a second faster than second placed Levi Kitchen in the ruts.
In Q2 it was a lap time war with Deegan getting the better of Levi Kitchen on his last flying lap with Anstie right on pace in third.
