There was an issue with the first 450SX qualifying at San Diego with the transponders not working so we have to wait and see what the organisers will do.
In the 250SX class, it was Levi Kitchen who set the pace in the first session but Haiden Deegan bounced back in Q2 to take pole position but the times are very close between the top three.
Max Anstie had a better Q2 to go fifth in qualifying.
