Lucas Coenen held off Tim Gajser to win his first race in MXGP and he was pumped with his performance! Coenen took the holeshot and rode a flawless race, even when Gajser pushed hard in the final couple of laps, to show his true potential on the 450 now he is getting back to full health. Once Lucas figures out how to win he usually wins multiple times – will that happen again in MXGP?
Ruben Fernandez was third with Renaux fourth but he will be disappointed after stalling while runnung second and giving Gajser two more points in the championship. Romain Febvre came from tenth to fifth, but, like Renaux, gave Gajser more points in the championship.
