MXGP Qualifying race: Jeffrey Herlings gated second behind Adamo but took the lead after a couple of laps going around the outside of the Italian. Gajser was quickly into second with Lucas Coenen then working his way into third as the drizzle continued, making the track very slick.
Coenen then passed Gajser and caught Herlings but the Dutchman found the pace to keep the lead and take the win. Tom Vialle crash out of sixth then got together his hos aggressive teammate Fernandez in the battle for tenth with Vialle hitting the deck hard and ending the race 18th.
