MXGP Qualifying Race: Jeffrey Herlings led a dutch 1-2 with Glenn Coldenhoff second to produce the perfect results for the home fans but it was not the perfect result for Lucas Coenen!
Coldenhoff led early and had Herlings, Gajser, Coenen and Febvre behind him, Herlings and Coenen nearly collided and Herlings moved lines to hold Coenen at bay after the Belgian had passed Febvre and Gajser to get into third. But Herlings then got by Coldenhoff and Coenen then went off the track twice, dropping himself back to fifth. He passed Gajser for fourth, but couldn’t catch Febvre again, thus losing one more point to Febvre in the championship.
