MXGP Qualifying race:
Glenn Coldenhoff held off three world champions to take a stunning race win at home on the Fantic! Prado couldn’t find his way through and then Febvre pounced on Prado with Herlings coming from tenth to join the battle but again backmarkers got in his way just as he wanted to make a charge at Prado and he had to accept fourth with Gajser a long way back in fifth and limiting the damage.
Cairoli showed he still has it and Ducati is fast with a fourth place start and seventh place finish, both Herlings and Gajser had to pass the 9 time world champ – it was like the good ole days!
A delighted Coldenhoff said: “I came a long way,. The Dutch fans were awesome. I felt I didn’t have any results this year so I wanted this win. Same motivation tomorrow.”
