It was an intense race at the front of the pack in MXGP between the main three riders at the moment.
It was Herlings who lead on the opening lap as Coenen went to wide around the first corner which allowed Herlings to sneak up the inside.
Febvre was around fifth after the first corner but it didn’t take him that long to get into third.
There wasn’t much to split the top three after that and there were no passes but it was nice to see them ride a rough track with different styles.
Tomorrow things could get very interesting!
Ruben Fernandez had a big crash last week but rode superb to finish fourth with Glenn Coldenhoff rounding out the top five.
Ben Watson rode well for ninth on his Beta.
