Lucas Coenen got the holeshot and ran into the distance, no one else even saw what way he went.
Mattia Guadagnini managed to get a great start and was running second looking great on his Ducati. Only Romain Febvre was able to pass him so it was a strong ride from the Italian to bring home third.
Calvin Vlaanderen had a good ride to bring home fourth after passing Tim Gajser.
After bad starts Ruben Fernandez and Jeffrey Herlings worked themselves into sixth and seventh respectively.
Febvre is 46 points clear of Coenen so he only needs sixteenth in the first race tomorrow if Coenen wins the moto to clinch the title.
