Qualifying race results: MX2 World Championship RD11 – Kegums

It was a chaotic MX2 qualifying race! It was Simon Längenfelder who grabbed the holeshot and it was a good job he did because there was carnage around the first couple of corners.

The first corner saw the Triumph’s and Kay de Wolf going down which could have been a disaster but then around turn two, Sacha Coenen went over the bars and it left Adamo and Everts with nowhere to go!

Längenfelder controlled things at the front with Reisulis strong in second before Benistant made a move to come home in second but the Latvian will still be happy with that.

Cas Valk was strong in fourth but had Everts on him right at the end. De Wolf ended up getting back up to sixth.

Adamo had a ripped jersey and could only get back to eleventh which meant no championship points.

Längenfelder takes the red plate into race day tomorrow and has a seven points lead! What a championship battle we’re having in MX2.
