Dean Wilson and Cedric Soubeyras won both of the heat races heading into the main event at Abu Dhabi.
There was chaos in the main event as Searle and Soubeyras were involved in a pretty big crash which saw a red flag come out. Unfortunately both riders couldn’t restart – hopefully they’re both okay.
In the restart, it was Hicks leading the way and Wilson in second – it looked like Wilson would bring home the title but then he crashed. Escoffier came home in second and ended up as the champion!
