Pro race results: Arenacross Tour RD1 – Zaragoza wins Birmingham

Heat 1: It was a French 1-2-3 with Thomas Ramette taking the win from Cedric Soubeyras and Adrien Escoffier. Matt Bayliss rode well for fourth ahead of Eddie Wade. Barr was seventh.

Heat 2: The second heat was a Stark 1-2 with Jorge Zaragoza taking the win ahead of Yannis Irsuti with Dean Wilson third. Defending champion, Jack Brunell was fourth ahead of Tommy Searle on his Triumph debut. 

Heat 3: It was French 1-2 with Ramette winning from Escoffier. Stark riders, Irsuti was third ahead of Wade with Brunell rounding out the top five.

Heat 4: Soubeyras took the win in the final heat of the night on his DRT Kawasaki ahead of the impressive Zaragoza with Wilson third. Chatfield rode well to finish an impressive fourth ahead of Searle who rounded out the top five.

Main event: It was Zaragoza who held the early lead with Wilson in second but Soubeyras was the man on the move putting pressure on the Brit. The French rider was able to make a move but had a three seconds gap to gain on Zaragoza but not enough time. Zaragoza took an impressive race win on his Stark. Escoffier finished fourth ahead of Irsuti. The next best Brit was the experienced Chatfield in seventh behind Ramette who had issues on lap one.
