Jorge Prado has his smile back and is looking forward to a showing his best form in 2026 as he gets back on the KTM and sets his sights on completing his first supercross season before going for the outdoor title!
The Spanish super talent said on his video about his return to KTM: “First of all, on Supercross I want to finish the whole series! I’ve only done four dry Supercross races in my whole career, so that’s not much. That means I need to gain a lot of experience on that, and the only way to gain experience is by racing. So I think coming to Anaheim 2026 I will be more prepared I think, I have a little bit more more experience than last year.
“Now I kind of know how the program goes, the format, so I think I will be more prepared. It’s still a very exciting event for me, I feel like I’m a rookie in Supercross and I got a lot to learn, so it’s always very exciting to go racing under the lights. It will be very important to finish every single round And I think race by race I will be getting better. I feel I’m a little bit more confident coming to Anaheim 2026.”
“Coming to outdoors, I think I will be a title contender. My goal is to fight for wins every single weekend. Those are my goals for 2026.“
And Jorge said from the first time he got back on the bike he felt at home: “First time I started the bike and clicked first gear, I already could feel just that response that I love from the KTM! It’s just something that I grew up with. I grew up racing KTM all my life and as soon as I got now back on it the flow was back, back with feet on the pegs, riding the engine like I want, riding free, loose, standing up. I don’t know – I was more like myself. I am very excited for the future, I think my real journey starts now.“
