Aaron Plessinger was arguably in the form of his life this summer when a lack of energy forced the fan favourite to stop racing after the year on year cumulative effort finally had his body crying enough.

But now, after time off, Plessinger is feeling much better and is carrying that confidence into 2026, finally fully believing in himself and his talent.

AP told the NBC Supercross preview show: “Me going and going and going over the last two or three years, it just caught up to be me and my body was just like, ‘hey dude, you are done right now.’ But now, we are over it and I’m feeling really, really good.

“I really, really do believe I can be up and there now and that I am one of the guys. I have proved it before but I just have to be consistent and if I do that, who knows, I can be in the championship hunt at the end of the season. I am huge on loyalty and what these guys (at KTM) have done for me over the past four years and how they have kept me around, is really important to me. So I want to do good for them as much as I want to do good for myself.”

“With the fans, I don’t know why they like me so much but I am not going to complain about it because I like them just the same! See that they love me, i just want to give it back to them, give them what they came to see.”
